Thank you to 826 Boston partners Northeastern University and WriteBoston, and to the 85 tireless volunteers and 65 motivated students who made Saturday's Boot Camp a grand success!

• 78 % of students who came to College Essay Boot Camp without having started their essays left with a first draft
• 75% of students who attended left with a first, second or third draft completed  
• 80% of students who attended reported that they made significant progress on their college essay!

Announcing Free College Essay Boot Camp on October 29th, 10am-4pm!

Overview: 826 Boston, Northeastern University, and WriteBoston will host an intensive weekend writing session to assist at least 100 college-bound high school seniors from the Boston area with their college essays, personal statements, and applications. Trained tutors will be available to provide individualized writing help to students from across the city. The event is free.

Date and Time: 10:00-4:00 on Saturday, October 29, 2011

Location: Behrakis Center, Northeastern University (30 Leon St.)
